Introduction
I,m sumriani binti Amir and I’m students in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia majoring in human resource
development and this semester I taking
subject Human Resources Information System which teaching by Dr. Roya Anvari. Based
on what have I learn in class last time about Human Resources Information
System (HRIS) I know that, HRIS give
big contribution to organization by using online system (web based) to manage
the human resources function. Using
online system (web based) in organization compensation and benefit plan, employee
learning and development and occupational safety and health is giving a big
contribution to organization effectiveness. This is because using web based application give the
easy way for employer and also to employee to access the new information or give information
besides it can cut cost and also safe time for administration and also

Web-Based
Compensation and Benefit Plan
Based on what we have
learning in class about web based and benefits plan I know that a compensation
and benefits plan is one of important the elements that can attract high
quality workers to work in an organization. According
to Jonathan Lister (2010) they said that
a strategy plan for employee compensation and benefits determine how
much an organization want to pay the employees and what type of employees the
organization want to attract. So, base on that statement I can say that besides cash the most important thing
that employee see when they want to work in an organization is the benefits
that employer give for their employee it include the security, stability and
opportunities to growth. Many people think that compensation and benefit is the
same thing but actually it is different compensation include wages, bonuses,
commission meanwhile benefit is include health insurance, pensions, day off and
so on
I thing that to make an
organization manages their compensation and benefits for employee effectively,
they the need to use web based compensation and benefits plan. There is
several application of web based compensation
and benefits planning that I know which is payroll, job evaluation, salary
surveys, salary planning, benefit management, incentive plan, relocation services and compensation
consultants.

What I get from reading a book about
this topic there several advantages using Web-Based Compensation and Benefit
plan which is its ability to
create reports and presentations and allow a business to streamline the
administration of employee compensation and benefits. Besides that, its enable the end users to tap a broad range of
HR information to adjust to changing demands and it is Improve effectiveness
either by in terms of the accuracy of information or by using the technology to
simplify the process. In addition, fundamentally changed the way employees relate to
their HR departments and also can let the managers have ready access to
information that is useful both to them and to their employees, and do not have
to go through a third party.
Disadvantages of using Web-Based
Compensation and Benefit plan is some
of the employees and managers who view this new technology as the “work of HR”
and therefore are resistant to using it or perhaps the technology is not as
user-friendly as it should be.
In summery, using web based Web-Based Compensation and Benefit plan
can increases the organization
effectiveness in giving compensation and

From what I learn in class and from reading, Employee
Learning and Development (ELD) System will give benefit to the company when it
contribute to the change the management
process, technology and also culture of the organization. To make this happen,
the organization need apply web based employee learning and development to
develop their employees. According to Mulin and Reen (2010) agreed that an
integration of intercultural e-learning enable company to develop talent and
skills among workers via e-learning.
From the presentation that doing by my friends about
this topic, Web Based Employee Learning And Development System consists of five
important functions which are employee personal profile, performance before
training, training course, training transfer and program evaluation.
Function of
ELD system
From that presentation they also state that, there are
several advantages of using Web Based Employee Learning and Development is this
system can automate and systematic the overall training process. using this system can it can facilitating the
process of learning and development in organization because Web Based Employee
Learning and Development can record and store all the information related to
training and learning program, fulfill new position and promotion, enable
employee to access their performance appraisal and personal information, available
course provided and others, besides that the information on the web based will be update time to time.
Besides that Web Based Employee Learning and Development
can supports organization’s goal which is can reducing cost because it can less
the cost for employee travel to the place for learning and also reducing the
cost for the use of printed material. by using this application employee have
the better opportunities to develop their skill using attractive system such as watch
the video about the subject that they want to learn and base on that employee can lead to the their learning retention
because the employee can share the
videos to other.
However,
I also can understands that using this web based employee learning and
development also have disadvantages such as employee needs to know and master
using computer to access the training course. Besides that, using this web
based it less interaction between trainer and trainee and also with other trainee.
In summary, I can conclude that, Web Based
Employee Learning and Development (ELD) can help the management to give
information to their employee and can help employee to develop their KSA by

What
I understand about this topic is every company must have their safety and
health policies. But sometimes they not
really applying and implement it in their organization. So one of the solution
is organization can use web based occupational safety and health, because using
this application it can help the organization to dissemination information
about the procedure, safety regulation and act, safety and health standard that
must be follow by the employer and employee to avoid the accident because we
know that accident can happen any time and any were and safety health training
course and so on. Web-Based Occupational Safety and Health consist three components
which is employees, hazard and also rules and regulations.

I know that, there are several
benefits by using application of Web-Based Occupational Health and Safety which
is give benefits for the organization by Increase awareness about occupational safety and
health in their organization. This because using this web based a easy give updated information about occupational safety and health
to their employee especially for big organization which have many brunches. Besides
that, is easy for the brunches to give the report to the head quarter related
to occupational health and safety.
Web-Based
Occupational Health and Safety can help management to easy access the
information about past training that employee that already attend. So they no need to send the same employee to
attend the same training. Besides that based on the Web-Based Occupational
Health and Safety, employee can attend online course that related to the
occupational safety and health that provided by organization so it can prevent accidents or can decrease the number of accidents happened.
Other than that, using Web-Based Occupational Safety and Health can make the
process become more systematic. This is because organization already has all
information about employee that can make them easy to manage the process given
training and give information related to this area.
However, the disadvantages of using Web- Based
Occupational Safety and Health are poor quality system. Because the system is
the technology sometimes technical problem will be happen such as the
information missing or sometimes employees forget their password or so on. In
addition, this web based cannot satisfy user needs, may be because the web is
not user- friendly.
In summary, I can
conclude that implement of Web Based Occupational Safety and Health can help
the organization to create the awareness among people in organization and can
prevent and decrease the number of accident happen in organization. (421 words)

In a conclusion using web base in Web-Based Compensation and Benefit plan, Web
Based Employee Learning and Development (ELD) and Web-Based Occupational Health
and Safety can improve the process of management in organization. Implementation
of this web based can help the management to increases their effectiveness by
make the process run systematically by give appropriate information that
related to those areas and appropriate training for the employee trough online
application which can increases the skills, knowledge and also ability employee
to perform their job. So, I fully
recommend to use this web- based application to help the
easy managed their human resources in organization, but they must consider their sources of
organization have because to implement and maintain this web-based system it
need a lot of money, time and also
